ORD racing is a Cross country / Rally Raid team backed up by Offroad Developments, Vicious Offroad and Td5inside. José Amorim from Portugal and Kenzo Deraeve from Belgium are driver and co-driver and they race a Bowler Wildcat.
This vehicle has done many events since it was first build in 2009 with some very good results, including a top 5 finish at the Africa Eco Race, a few top 10 at FIA events and and also some class podiums at the 24h TT Fronteira – Portugal. It was also Portuguese National Champion T8 in 2019. weighing about 2 tons, it has been recently fully rebuild to the original dakar specs, and has a Land Rover td5 engine pushing 250bhp and 550nm torque with FIA restrictor, Quaife 6 speed sequential gearbox, Quaife limited slip diffs, Intrax coilover and triple bypass suspension a 300 liter fuel tank and an underbody hidraulic hi-lift Jack.
AlliSport’s Land Rover 90 was originally built in 1985 with a normally aspirated petrol engine, and was converted to a competition car in the mid 90’s, for use in “Comp Safari” events in the UK. An MSA stage rally log book was added in 2000 along with a 5.2 litre Rover V8. Andrew purchased the 90 in 2009 and fitted a TD5, Disco 2 axles, coil-over suspension and Quaife 6 speed sequential gearbox. The plan was to make a vehicle that can be used for as many types of motorsport as possible. Not necessarily win any, but to have fun. Andrew has been competing for many years and designed the car to be a good promotional tool as well as enjoying motorsport.
It has been used for gravel and tarmac stage rallies against typical rally cars such as Subaru Impreza’s, Mitsubishi Evos and Ford Escorts. It has completed the WRC in Wales (22nd overall), Rally Barbados (winner of Group B), Goodwood Festival of Speed, rally in Iceland and Morocco and has been seen on various TV programmes. We have entered the car at speed hill climbs, track days, and many other events, it is also used as a development tool for AlliSport products. The TD5 is tuned with AlliSport parts and uses TD5 Inside VGT turbo and 4 stage mapping. We are now converting the 90 for the Dakar Classic in Saudi Arabia in January 2024. We have a very small team of driver Andrew Graham, navigator Gavin Neate and service crew Robert Clements.
